Flood Warning issued for Horse Creek near Arcadia
According to NOAA and the NWS, the Peace River and Horse Creek will rise to MINOR FLOOD STAGE

The National Weather Service has issued a FLOOD WARNING for the Horse Creek area.
Recent heavy rains have led to a rise in the water level for Horse Creek near Arcadia. The water level is expected to remain elevated through the weekend.
The river is forecast to rise above flood stage by after midnight tomorrow (Friday July 6th) and continue to rise to near 12.5 feet by early Saturday morning. The river is expected to fall below flood stage by early Monday morning.
• Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
• Monitor the weather by listening to NOAA Weather Radio or visiting weather.gov/tampabay
Also monitor Invest 95L, a disturbance in the Atlantic which has a 70% chance of developing into a Tropical Cyclone within the next five days. It may become Tropical Depression Beryl.
