"Heart of an Estuary" boat tours offered by CHEC

The Charlotte Harbor Environmental Center (CHEC), with a grant from the Mosaic Company Foundation, is pleased to offer our Journey through the Heart of an Estuary programs. Join CHEC staff on a field trip to witness watershed connections.

These approximately 2-hour West Charlotte County boating excursions will begin at Cape Haze Marina. Directions will be provided when you register. Programs are scheduled at 10:00 am on Wednesday April 10, Friday April 12, Wednesday April 17 and Friday April 19, 2013. These tours are open to first time participants only.

The goal of this program is to provide an opportunity for all interested residents to participate in first-hand experiences involving natural communities that comprise the Charlotte Harbor estuary and Peace River Watershed.
