Sponsors sought for next Watershed Summit
The Charlotte Harbor National Estuary Program (CHNEP) hosts a Charlotte Harbor Watershed Summit every three years, with the next one planned for March 25-27, 2014 at the Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center. The Watershed Summit is an opportunity to review progress and discuss current and emerging issues affecting the greater Charlotte Harbor watershed. It is an important step in the NEP process of bringing public and private stakeholders together to discuss ongoing studies and critical environmental issues facing the region.
We would greatly appreciate if your organization or business would consider becoming a sponsor of either or both the Conservation Lands Workshop 2013 and the Charlotte Harbor Watershed Summit 2014.
While all amounts of support will be appreciated, all sponsors that provide $2,000 or more will be listed as a sponsor of either event. All entities that provide less than $2,000 will be listed as sponsors of specific activities, such as for refreshments breaks, exhibit area, etc. As a sponsor your name will be included in promotion and documents.
If you are interested in supporting the CHNEP by sponsoring either event, please contact Maran Hilgendorf (239/338-2556 ext 240) for additional guidance. The CHNEP is pleased to have the assistance of the Friends of Charlotte Harbor Estuary, Inc. The Friends serve as the fiscal agent for some projects and the Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council, our local host, serves as the fiscal agent for others. Sponsors will be acknowledged in all materials that are created after the donation is received.
