Volunteer Interpretive Naturalist Training at Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve

FORT MYERS – The Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve is looking for a few people interested in nature and the local environment to join our staff of volunteers. A two-part, nine-session Volunteer Naturalist Training Program for trail guides will begin Friday, November 1st and meet the first four Fridays in November. Classes will resume on Friday, January 10th 2014 and end on Friday, February 7th.

Applications must be submitted by September 15th. Interviews will be scheduled as applications are received and once the class maximum of eight is reached, the class will close. All other applicants will be moved to a waiting list. Applications are available online or in the Interpretive Center at the Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve.
