Fun Days at the Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve
FORT MYERS – The Slough will be offering three fun days this fall when schools are closed. Kids will join Interpretive Naturalists for guided walks, nature crafts, games and more as they explore this beautiful park!
Adults will sign kids in at the Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve Interpretive Center from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 5th; Friday, October 11th or Wednesday, November 27th for a day full of hands-on learning and fun. The cost per kid aged 10-12 is $15 for each fun day and reservations are required at www.leeparks.org or (239) 533-7440.
Each fun day is limited to 10 participants so register early. Kids should wear closed toe shoes, dress to be outside, bring water, two snacks and a lunch.
