Manatee Park, Davis boat ramp parking lots to close temporarily

The parking lots will be closed for about a week for routine maintenance

FORT MYERS – The parking lots at Manatee Park and Davis Boat Ramp will close for routine maintenance beginning Monday, Aug. 26, and will remain closed for about a week. During this closure, the parking lots will be sealed and restriped.

Manatee Park, along the Orange River at 10901 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers and Davis Boat Ramp, along the Caloosahatchee River at 2227 Davis Blvd., Fort Myers, will be closed to the public during this time. Boat patrons may use Alva Boat Ramp, 21580 Pearl Street, Alva. The anticipated reopening date will be Friday, Aug. 30, weather permitting.

Manatee Park typically has fewer visitors in the summer as manatees visit less frequently due to warm water throughout area waterways.
