Dune walkovers to be replaced in Fort Myers Beach
The four-month project will replace walkovers at Lynn Hall Memorial Park
FORT MYERS – Work to elevate four existing dune walkovers at Lynn Hall Memorial Park, 950 Estero Blvd. on Fort Myers Beach, will begin later this month.
Public access to the beach will be maintained throughout the project, which is expected to be completed in April 2020, weather permitting.
The walkovers are being raised to match the dune elevation to provide more efficient access for people crossing them.
The design and construction of the project is budgeted at $585,540, which will be paid through Tourist Development Tax dollars.
