The Higel Marine Park Boat Ramp in Venice will be closed from 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15 to 12 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16 for the removal of a sunken sailboat from Hurricane Ian.
The rest of the park at 1330 Tarpon Center Dr. will remain open.
The Venice Police Department, City Public Works/Solid Waste, and Sea Tow are partnering to remove this vessel from our waters.
