Charlotte County joins 9th annual ‘Imagine a Day Without Water’

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, FLA. (Sept. 25, 2023) – Charlotte County joins elected officials, water utilities, community leaders, educators, and businesses from across the country as part of the ninth annual Imagine a Day Without Water, a nationwide day of education and advocacy about the value of water.

Led by the Value of Water Campaign, over a thousand organizations across the country will raise awareness on Oct. 19, 2023, to raise awareness about the role of water in our lives and the importance of investing in water and the people behind these systems.

Please join us for a tour of the Burnt Store Water Treatment and Reclamation Facility, 17430 Burnt Store Road, Punta Gorda, on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Get a behind-the-scenes look at the process involved in providing water and wastewater treatment and reclamation services to the community and Imagine a Day Without Water.
